What is the “Heated Stone”?
We would say it is the health-conscious version of a barbecue.
With this method the beat is broiled gently without fat so that it stays tender and succulent.
That’s not only low-caloric but really health-conscious and above all it tastes delicious.
Who enjoys it?
All the people who love conviviality and good food! On the headted stone you may broils meat, fish, sausages, eggs, vegetables, mushrooms and fruit - all without fat, thus gently and nonetheless tasty.
When is the heated stone available?
In or restaurant, the heated stone is not only offered during the outdoor season. For our guests a heated stone may be used aht the round table in our lounge. So we are independent from the weather: you may enjoy the heated stone in spring, summer, autumn or in winter - in the “Hotel am Kurpark”.

Our family-run hotel is located next to the spa garden and at a distance of just a few minutes from the center of Bad Lauterberg.
This place offers many possibilities for planning and experiencing perfect holidays.
Excinting tours with your motor-bike, many trails for walking and cycling are directly accessible. And if you perfer to pass your day at home you may relax and have a good time in our spa garden lounge.

Bad Lauterberg, an 800 year old town, has a little historic center with many romantic alleyways, fashion shops and boutiques and pleasant cafés.

Further attractions of Bad Lauterberg: the nice spa park and several museums.

Motor-bikers find tights bends and turns, impressive sightseeing and fellows at each corner.

Our sportive guests find interesting mountain-bike trails for beginners and experts. Walking or hiking fans appreciate the beautiful walking park with a variety of well-marked routes and - if requested - special walking instructors.

A network of 120 kms of walking trails will enthuse all fans. You have a marvelous view from the Hausberg and the Grosser Knollen.

Water sports are offered in thermal spas, swimming pools and lakes. Visit the Oder reservoir and the Wiesenbek mountain lake.
Both are perfect for swimming, fishing, sailing or cruising.

Winter sport fans may exercise their hovvy in the 42 km network of cross-country skiing trails in the Southern Harz.

The above prices include the VAT and our rich breakfast.

Half-board: € 12.50 per night and person

Garages available at € 4.00 per day,
but you may as well use our public parking space on site.

Pets are allowed at an extra charge of € 4.00 per day

Visitor’s tax: € 2.20 per day.

Single rooms, or rooms with twin/two or more beds provide for ease and comfort and a comfortable ambiance. All our rooms have a shower bath, WC, TV, telephone, internet access and most of the rooms have a balcony.

Our young guests up to 6 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

Pets are welcome.
